CTE White Paper: Building from Content to Community: [Re]Thinking the Transition to Online Teaching and Learning

The Online Teaching and Learning Resource Guide at Virginia Commonwealth University is an excellent resource, found in the VCU Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE). The white paper (linked below) provides a “best practices” analysis, particularly highlighting the role of faculty development for a successful online learning initiative.

From the site:
The CTE authored this white paper, Building from Content to Community: [Re]Thinking the Transition to Online Teaching and Learning, to serve as a resource for faculty who are teaching online or are considering making a transition. We hope this paper serves as the starting point for conversation and reflection as you begin this process yourself.
