Steven E. Weisler, Ph.D. Hampshire College
Research Fellow for The New Leadership Alliance for Student Learning and Accountability

Purpose
The NEEAN Annual Academic Assessment Institute supports college and university faculty and administrators as they strengthen their assessment efforts and link campus assessment processes with curriculum design, delivery, improvement, and accreditation expectations.

Through facilitated dialogue, participants will: 1) Explore options for institutionalizing assessment to improve student learning; 2) Learn how to improve the reporting process; 3) Consider ways to enhance faculty development and target resources for continuous improvement; 4) Become familiar with helpful tools and methods to assess and improve student learning; and 5) Discuss how best to analyze evidence.

Who Should Attend
Recommended for individual campus teams of two or more people.

  • Administrators, staff, and/or faculty responsible for coordinating campus assessment efforts.
  • Administrators and faculty from campuses preparing for upcoming accreditation visits; and
  • Administrators and faculty from campuses responsible for responding to recommendations of accreditors.

Location and Cost
Keene State College, New Hampshire

$475 per Person, includes All Meals & Lodging. Lodging will be at the Keene Courtyard by Marriott Downtown. If you don’t need lodging, cost will be $410.
