Using LinkedIn Profiles to Enhance Careers

From my POD listserv:

Ed Neal, Professional Consultant in Higher Education and Editor of the Journal of Faculty Development (also an Adjunct Professor of Education and Director of Faculty Development at UNC-CH), writes about opportunities to exploit the advantages of profiles on LinkedIn to enhance professional careers. He states that the Journal of Faculty Development has just begun an online series that explains techniques and strategies for gaining the maximum benefit from our LinkedIn profiles.

There are three articles in this series (February 21), written by Ron Berk. Part 1 is now available online for free download. Parts 2 and 3 on creating an effective LinkedIn profiles will be available in March and April, at: http://www.newforums.com/jfd.
