Stereotype Threat Workshop

Stereotype Threat Workshop

The CU Denver Philosophy department is hosting a workshop for all faculty and staff on the effects of stereotype threat, which refers to a concern about confirming a negative stereotype about one’s social group that can set up an obstacle to student success, as well as ways to mitigate stereotype threat in the classroom and in office hours.  The workshop is on September 25, from 3-5 in Plaza M-203.
